IAN JOHNSTON

CEO / CTO / Co-Founder

Ian Johnston has 25 years in product and technology experience and was the founder of Innovative Security Designs (ISD), a small, agile, edge computing company. Started in 2012, the team sprinted to market achieving $2M in revenue in their second year of operation.

Competing against all the industry juggernauts, ISD not only won the “Best Camera, Megapixel”, but also the most prestigious award in the security industry – “Best of Show” – at the largest trade show, ISC West, in 2013. ISD went on to be an engineering partner for some of the biggest companies in the world, and were eventually acquired by FLIR Systems, Inc. in 2016.

FRANK GOERLICH

Vice President of Operations

Frank Goerlich has been involved in global manufacturing and operations for over 20 years. Prior to joining iryx Corporation as Vice President of Operations, he held various director level manufacturing and operations positions for IQinVision, one of the security industry’s trailblazer’s in megapixel IP video, which was later acquired by Vicon Industries.

Frank has successfully led operations teams; been responsible for high-end electronic and mechanical assemblies; established supply chains; and negotiated best product costs and lead times with extensive experience spanning Europe, Asia and the Americas. Mr. Goerlich holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering as well as a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
